Willie Jeter Obituary

Mr. Willie James Jeter 31, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, in Atlanta GA. He was born in Columbia SC on May 7, 1982, to Shirley and Richard Jeter. He graduated from Olympia Learning Center in 2002. He attended the Art Institute of Atlanta in 2003. He was a proud member of the artistic community and could frequently be found displaying his art throughout the city of Atlanta. He will be forever loved by many. His desire for art and belief in God was his drive to succeed. He never stopped believing in himself, even when other cast stones upon him. His health never stopped him from wanting to pursue his dream. He once said “DON’T JUST PRAY 2 TAKE THE PAIN AWAY…. PRAY 2 LET GOD KNOW HOW WONDEROUS HE IS…. HOW AMAZING, HOW BLESSED U R BECAUSE OF HIM. LET HIM KNOW U R ONE OF HIS CHILDREN, & NOTHING CAN TAKE HIS GLORY FROM YOUR SOUL”. Willie considered himself “MORE THAN AN ARTIST”. He was determined to follow Christ and live through his words. Willie is survived by his parents, four sisters:  Jennifer, Tashia, Stephanie and Vicky Jeter. Four nephews: Miguel, O’nae Jackson, Tyler Jeter, Jackson Howard. One Niece;  Dashia Jackson. A very special friend Tashana Peace, and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins that loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by a brother; Mr. Richard Jeter Jr. and foster mother Mary Green.
