Ronnie Glover, affectionally known “Gene”, was raised by the late Annie and John Glover. And spent most of his life in Winnsboro SC. He peacefully transitioned on October 28, 2023, in the comfort of his home.
Gene is survived by his stepdaughter, Crystal Williams, who held a special place in his heart, and the cherished children of his beloved sister, Carrie Small Glover. His nieces include Rev. Lenora Stroman (James), Annie White, Melissa Small, and Cassandra Small, while his nephews were Bobby Small, (daughter- in -law Sherry Small0, Frederick Boulware, and Eddie Lamont Small. Honorable mentions go to Gene two great-great nieces, Zuri Davis and Gracie Leann Bell, whose presence brought him much joy and warmth.
Gene was preceded in death by his nephew, Christopher Small, and niece, Kimberly Johnson.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, including a host of nieces, nephews as well as best friends for over 40 years, Walter Holley, and Tony Watkin, all leaving cherished moments to be forever remembered.
Funeral service will be 1 pm Sunday November 5, 2023 @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home Chapel, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180. Visitation will be Saturday November 4, 2023 from 4 pm to 7 pm @ the funeral home.
