Ms. Margaret Roseborough was called to final rest on Friday, September 13, 2019 at her home on Roosevelt Street in Winnsboro, SC.
She was born and reared in Winnsboro, SC, to the late Arthur and Carrie Holmes Roseborough. Ms. Roseborough was educated in the public schools of Fairfield County and a graduate of Allen University, Columbia, SC. She did further study at Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC. She was a retired educator with the Fairfield County School System.
Ms. Roseborough was an active member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, Winnsboro, SC where she worked faithfully until her health began to deteriorate. She was at her best when she was working at Calvary. She was the pianist, Adult Sunday School Teacher, Elder, Treasurer, choir member and a member of the Presbyterian Women of the Church.
She was a member of Progressive Chapter 253 OES.
She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.
Left to witness her home-going are her devoted cousins, Ella Mae and Charles Harrison, of Winnsboro, SC, a niece, Arthuretta Bowan of Leonardtown, MD, a nephew, George Roseborough of Dallas, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service for Ms. Margaret Roseborough of 305 Roosevelt St. Winnsboro SC will be 1pm Thursday September 19, 2019 @ Calvary Presbyterian Church USA, 311 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180 with burial @ Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 8pm with OES Rites at 6pm Wednesday September 18, 2019 @ Russell-McCutchen Chapel, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
