Ms. Jerrie Jean Feaster “Pecan” 55 was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday January 19, 2021. She joined hands with the Master and departed this life after fifty five years on this earthly journey. She was born on November 6, 1965 to Johnny Brown and the late Jessie M. Feaster in Fairfield County.
Jerrie confessed to Christ at an early age and became a member of Hassion Hill Baptist Church. Jerrie sang on the senior choir and was a faithful member of the missionary board and kitchen committee.
She was educated in public schools of Fairfield County.
She was affectionately known to her family and friends as “Pecan”. To know her was to love her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A treasured chest of memories will be shared by many, but forever stored in the hearts of her dearest love ones.
Celebrating the victory of life over death are Jerrie’s father, Johnny Brown, one son, Anthony (Cole) Feaster, one daughter, Melissa (Orlando) Feaster, grandchildren, Deshawn Manaiza, Reese Johnson, Rehanna and Ja’Mae Feaster. Two sisters, Jessie (Marcus) Wilson, and Bobbie (Jesse) Feaster, three nephews, Demond, DeMarcus, and Ja’Quon, two nieces, Ty’Shia and Jessica. Five aunts, Cora Feaster, Ruby Jackson, Mattie Feaster, Bessie Feaster, and Helen Bookman, and a host other relatives and friends .
Jerrie was preceded in death by her mother Jessie M. Feaster and her sister Thelma Feaster Reid.
Graveside service will be 3 pm Sunday January 24, 2021 @ Hassion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
