Mrs. Vermelle Robertson Obituary

Vermelle was born March 15, 1933 in Blair, SC to the late Willie and Carrie Peoples Crosby. She died Sunday, October 10, 2021 surround by her family. Vermelle graduated from Mather Academy in Camden, SC and Allen University Columbia, SC. Vermelle was a member of First Nazareth Baptist Church and was a member of the Vineyard Worker, and the Women Working Ministry. Vermelle retired as a School teacher and from J.B. White Department Store.

Vermelle leaves to cherish her memories, a sister Lillie C. Mitchell of Beaufort, SC, a niece Kenya (Teco) Crosby, two nephews Michael Richardson all of Great Fall SC and Steve (Sarah) Richardson of Charlotte, NC, great niece Asian Simpson, great nephew T’Nijay Crosby-Simpson all of Great Falls, SC and one aunt Mary Jane Smalls of Columbia, SC and a host of other cousins and friends.

Vermelle is preceded in death by her Parents, a sister Betty A. Crosby, brother Willie Crosby and sister n law Rosa Crosby.

Graveside service will be 12 noon (11:30 am viewing) Saturday October 16, 2021 @ Gethsemane Baptist Church Cemetery. No public viewing Friday October 15, 2021 @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home.
