Mrs. Shirley Yarborough Obituary

Mrs. Shirley Ann Curry Yarborough departed this earthly life on Friday, October 22, 2021 at her son’s residence.  Born September 13, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Elmar Manning and Jessie Lee Caldwell Curry.

Shirley was employed at Uniroyal Goodrich Manufacturing for many years and retired in 1995.  She was a loving, kind, caring person and a joy to be around.  She was high-spirited , loved people and people loved her.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories, her children: daughter, Deloise (Paul) Chambers of Winnsboro, SC; two sons, Anthony Yarborough (Melissa) of Blythewood SC, Charles (Marshalle) Yarborough of Winnsboro SC; one sister, Estelle Curry of Youngstown, SC; two brothers: Michael Curry of Great Falls, SC and Henry Lewis Curry of Lancaster, SC; sisters-in-law, Marjorie Curry and Betty Jean Curry; other special loved ones include seventeen grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Yarborough; two daughters:  Linda Feaster and JoAnne Yarborough; her son, John Travis Yarborough; three sisters:  Viola Douglas, Ruby Bowser, Linda Sampson; four brothers:  Robert Lee Curry, Roy Curry, Charles Curry, Sr. and Billy Curry.

Graveside service will 2 pm Saturday October 30, 2021 @ New Hope AME Church. Visitation will be from 1 pm to 6 pm Friday October 29, 2021 @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
