Ruby Geneva Feaster Jackson departed her life peacefully November 21, 2025, in Augusta Georgia. Ruby was born July 3, 1935, she was the beloved daughter of the late John L. and Geneva Y. Feaster.
Ruby was a faithful member of Zion Hopewell Baptist Church until her health declined. She was also a proud member of the Eastern Star. She will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to family, her passion for cooking and gardening, and her bright, energetic spirit. Ruby had an extraordinary ability to sense when others needed her help, and she touched countless lives with her kindness and resilience. Despite health challenges, she remained independent, grateful, and a source of light and strength. Her presence graced our most treasured moments, and she will be profoundly missed in all the milestones yet to come.
She leaves to cherish her memory one sister Mattie Feaster of Chester, South Carolina; She was a devoted mother to seven loving children Linda Cook, Debra Gadson (Michael), Robert Jackson, Jr., Karen Jackson, Marvin Jackson (Freida), Vessa Jackson, Jerry Jackson (Barry). Ruby is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cherished grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren who adored her deeply.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Robert Mack Jackson, Sr., her daughter, Carolyn Beverly Jackson, her brother Sammie Feaster, three sisters Bessie M. Feaster, Jessie M. Feaster and Cora L. Feaster.
Funeral service will be 2 pm Wednesday November 26, 2025 @ Zion Hopewell Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday November 25, 2025 from 11 am to 5 pm @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
