Mrs. Ollie Mae Burrell

Ollie Mae Burrell, daughter of the late Mitchel Burrell and Mary Hall Burrell went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the White Oak Manor in Newberry, South Carolina.  She was born July 1, 1930 in Fairfield County.

She lived all of her life in Fairfield County.  She loved her community and especially her church, Morris Creek Baptist Church.  It was there that she found peace and solace in the knowledge that God is sovereign and has control of our being.  She taught Sunday School for many years.  It was her strong faith that sustained her through the years.

She leaves to cherish fond memories her son, Lonnie Burrell and his wife Selma Burrell of Charlotte, NC; one granddaughter, Chante’ Nicole Burrell of Chicago, IL and one sister, Mary Searcy of Stockbridge, GA; three special cousins whom she loved as her own children with all of her heart: Patricia Thompson of Jenkinsville, SC, Clyde Cooper of Jenkinsville, SC and Donald McDaniel of Blythewood, SC; other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Mrs. Ollie Mae Burrell of 111 Superfan Ln. Winnsboro SC will be 1pm (12 noon viewing) Monday December 9, 2019 @ Morris Creek Baptist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday December 8, 2019 from 3pm to 7pm @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
