Mrs Mattie Lois Privett

Mattie Lois Gladden Privett was born December 8, 1948, to the late Joe Edd and Lucille Evans Gladden. After graduating from Fairfield High School, she relocated to New York. 

There in New York, Mattie met her future husband, Mack M. Privett, and they were joined in Holy Matrimony on August 26, 1972. She later retired as a supervisor from LaGuardia Airport after 35 years of dedicated service.  

She leaves to cherish precious memories, one son, Julius C. Gladden of Columbia, SC and one daughter, Tracy D. Gladden of Winnsboro, SC. Four sisters, Betty Bryant of St. Albany, NY, Janie Hall of Bayonne, NJ, Rosenna Dewese and Mary G. Sampson of Winnsboro, SC. Five brothers, Alphonso Gladden, Clinton (Radene) Gladden, Sr. of Winnsboro, SC. Carl Gladden of Jersey City, NJ, Ronald and Michael Gladden of Queen, NY, grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Service and burial will be held on May 21, 2025 at Paul Lane Funeral Home Inc. in Jamaica, NY, 115-33 Sutphin Blvd. Jamaica, NY 11434.
