Mrs. Marlene Armstrong Obituary

Mrs. Marlene Betty Himple Armstrong affectionately known as “Molly” passed away on July 30, 2021. She was born to the late Allene Himple and Bernie Gibson on October 1, 1960 in Baltimore MD. She was employed at Coppin State University, and was the owner of Himple Daycare for over eleven years. She was a member of The Pillar Worship Center in Baltimore MD.

She is survived by a son, Booker Armstrong III of Winnsboro SC, six sisters, Allene, Audrey and Darlene Himple of Baltimore MD, Charlene Himple of Florida, Irene Himple of North Carolina, Vivian (Ridgley) McGowan Jr. of Baltimore MD, two brothers, Bobby (Patricia) Rhodes of Baltimore MD, Calvin Rhodes of Baltimore MD, a granddaughter in love, D’Amini Cheatham of Baltimore MD and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other close relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11am Thursday August 12, 2021 @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1pm to 6pm Wednesday August 11, 2021 @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
