Mrs. Mamie Lynn Obituary

Mamie E. Lynn was born July 11, 1943 to the late Marion Sr. and Narsissie Rabb. She attended the Fairfield County School System. During her last year of life, Mamie resided at Lifecare Center of Columbia, SC.Mamie was employed by Grace Bleachery and Captain Galley in Lancaster, SC. She was a long time member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church were she served as church secretary, president of the usher board, and a member of the hymn choir. She later joined Haskell Heights Progressive Baptist Church where she was a member of the Jubilee choir. She enjoyed gospel music and loved to sing her favorite song "Anywhere You Bless Me Lord." Her life was well lived with God and family at its center.  She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters Lorrene (Sylvester) Thomas of Rock Hill, SC, Tiquita (Marcus) Wrighten of Concord, NC, two sons Grover Lynn of Great Falls, SC, and Tracy (Angie) Lynn of Great Falls, SC; one brother, Willie (Doris) Rabb of Winnsboro, SC; three sisters, Mildred Pete and Ernestine (Larry) Jenkins both of Brooklyn, NY, Lorraine (Harold) Cauthen of Salisbury, NC; three sister-in-laws, Rita (Joseph) Gaither, Edna (Robert) Davis, and Victoria (Larry) Ingram all of Fort Lawn, SC; two brother-in-laws, John (Lillian) Lynn of Greenville, SC and Adam (Martha) Lynn of Fort Lawn, SC; six grand-children, Tavares, Brittany, and Matthew Cunningham, Santeargo and Shardae Lynn, and Satoyra Harvey; 10 great grand-children, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, all whom will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband William J. Lynn, her brothers, James Lee, Robert Lewis and Marion Rabb, and a sister Bertie Mae Baten. Funeral service will be 1:00pm (12 noon viewing) Saturday March 31, 2018 @ Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church with burial at Fort Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday March 30, 2018 from 1pm to 7pm @ Russell-Mccutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
