Mrs. Lula Kennedy

 Mrs. Lula Mae Kennedy was born to the late Leroy and Christine Edmonds on November 15, 1952. She departed her   earthly life on December 23, 2017 at Palmetto Health Richland surrounded by her family.  She attended Fairfield High School. Lula was a dedicated home maker. Lula leaves to cherish her beautiful memories her son; Willie James Edmonds Sr. of Winnsboro SC, Tony; a loving brother   whom she raised of Columbia SC, two grandsons; Willie Edmonds Jr. and Tony Edmonds Jr, two granddaughters; Valeria   Mobley and Lila Edmonds. Four sisters; Mary Sanders(Ernest), Anna Bell Edmonds, Dorothy Edmonds both of   Winnsboro SC, and Sharon Louise Edmonds of Columbia SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives   and friends.  Lula had many devoted friends; Charlene Robinson, Virginia Jones, Barbara Robinson, Lois Pearson, Deborah Pearson,   Vorese Walker, Betty Ann Walker, Clarence Yarborough, Conshetta Trapp and Latressa Kelly.  Lula was preceded in death by her husband; Charlie Kennedy Jr, two aunts; Minnie Fee and Wilhemina Joseph, one    brother; Leroy Edmonds and one nephew; Tony “Bubba” Watkins. We will miss her saying “you’re talking to the head to the body that knows something”. Funeral service will be 3:00pm (2:00pm viewing) Thursday December 28, 2017 @ Bethesda AME Zion Church with burial @ Fairfield Community Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm to 7pm Wednesday December 27, 2017 at Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
