Mrs. Louise Hollingsworth Pickett departed this earthly life on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital. Louise was born on July 1, 1944 to the late Samuel and Eunice Hollingsworth. She was married to the late Kennieth E. Pickett. Louise accepted the Lord and Savior at County Grove Baptist Church. She served as a Sunday School Teacher, Usher, Women’s Fellowship, Prayer Warrior and taught children’s church. She attended Fairfield County Public Schools. She was a faithful and dedicated member until her health declined. Louise leaves a legacy of love and cherishing memories to her sister, Mrs. Alberta H. Gaither of Winnsboro, SC; five nephews Rev. Curtis (Resser) Hollingsworth of Hartford, CT, Samuel Hollingsworth, Ricky (Linda) Hollingsworth, Otis Gaither, Scott (Tonya) Gaither, one niece Cathy Gaither, one goddaughter, Jermani Bouler all of Winnsboro, SC; one stepson, Kelsey L. (Nicole) Pickett of Columbia, SC; two stepdaughters Regina (Willie) Simmons, Winnsboro, SC, Tara Harris, Columbia, SC; three brothers in law Richard (Johnnie Mae) Pickett, Rochester, NY, Samuel (Cheryl) Pickett, Winnsboro, SC, and James (Diane) Pickett, Columbia, SC and a host of nieces and nephews and two special friends Laura Brown and Debbie Johnson and Frankie Gadson and other relatives and friends. Louise H. Pickett was predeceased by her husband Kennieth E. Pickett, mother Eunice Hollingsworth; father Samuel Hollingsworth, sister Jessie M. Gadson, brother in law Otis Gaither Jr., nieces, nephews, other family and friends.Funeral service will be 11:00am (10:00am Viewing) Thursday March 22, 2018 @ County Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be 12 noon Friday March 23, 2018 @ Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Visitation will Wednesday March 21, 2018 from 1pm to 7pm @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
