Mrs. Louise Kennedy Obituary

REFLECTION OF LIFE

Louise Avonia Kennedy was born September 23, 1936, in Winnsboro, SC to the proud parents of the late James Ginyard and Lucille Edwards. Louise heard Jesus calling her name as she left this life to go home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Louise grew up in South Carolina and was known by most as “Lou”.

She graduated from Fairfield High School, accepted Christ at an early age and joined Blackjack Baptist Church.

Later, she married and relocated to Baltimore, Maryland. Louise continued her walk with Christ when she became a faithful member of Christian Community Church of God until her health began to fail.

Louise worked as a machine operator at Malco Plastic for over 25 years until she retired. She was a member of the Eastern Stars, liked going to Cabrees and Bull Roast with her husband that was a Mason, loved to dance, plant flowers, going shopping with her children, and playing with her grandkids.

She goes home to join her husband, parents, two brothers, and one sister. Louise leaves behind to cherish her loving memories her children Yvonne Adgers, Angela (Michael) Gordon of Baltimore, MD, David (Brenda) Kennedy of Winnsboro, SC., Betty Kennedy of Orlando, FL., Eric (Glynda) Kennedy of Charlotte, NC., and Sandra Kennedy of Baltimore, MD.; 4 sisters and 1 sister that was dear to her heart Alice Golder, 1 brother-in-law, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, a special cousin Moses (Margaret) of Maryland, 2 very special nieces Terria (Kami) Moody and Tracy Byrd of Maryland, 2 dear friends Joyce (Herald) Huggins of Maryland and the Ashoo & Awtrey family of Florida; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing”. II Timothy 4:7-8
