Mrs. Linda “ Nadine” Caldwell was born February 1, 1951 in Winnsboro SC. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Charlie Quay Padgette and the late Emma Julia Caldwell Padgette. She departed this earthly life to be with the Lord on April 8, 2018.Nadine was educated in the Fairfield County school system. She graduated from Winnsboro High School in 1969. Nadine attended Palmer College. She was employed by Charm Sewing Room for many years, AMBAC International from 1994 to 2005, and Allied Barton as a security guard until her health declined. Nadine was s faithful member of St. Luke Baptist Church in Winnsboro. Where she was known for her contagious smile, faithfulness and those delicious cakes. Nadine loved her family, baking, crossword puzzles family cookouts and watching favorite TV shows. Nadine was a strong woman who worked hard to care and provide for her family. Nadine leaves to cherish her loving memories; her husband McArthur Caldwell, her daughters Atoya N. Caldwell of Winnsboro SC, Miya D. Caldwell of Columbia SC and Brandy M. Caldwell of Lugoff SC and a special adopted son, Anthony Aldridge of Winnsboro SC. Four granddaughters Darinisha Woodard, Alexia Aldridge, Ashli Crim and My’Kielah Smith, one great-granddaughter Je’Ryah Henry and one great grandson Bryson Irby all of Winnsboro SC. Two nieces April and Shawn Padgette of Columbia SC. A devoted and loving cousin Alfortina Dawkins and her BFF Norma Wilburn and a host of other nieces, nephews, sister in laws, brother in laws, cousins and friends. She also leaves special friends to cherish her memories Alexander “Alex” Bland, Charles “Buck” Hardin, Douglas Samuel, Patricia Salley, and Bea Gibbons.Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Carl Quay Padgette, her sons Jeremy and Bryan Caldwell and her niece Joshalyn T. Padgette.Funeral service will be 1:00pm (12 noon viewing) Friday April 13, 2018 @ St. Luke Baptist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday April 12, 2018 from 1pm to 7pm @ Russell-Mccutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
