Laura Mae Stewart Harts, who has given the world 85 years of love and support, passed away on January 11, 2022. She attended Fairfield County School. She was a homemaker and devoted mother.
She was born in the Greenbrier Community; she was the daughter of the late Alvin Stewart and Caroline C. Stewart. To this union 9 children was born. 5 sons, Wade V. Herndon of Columbia, SC, Billy A. Harts of Jenkinsville, SC, Linnalis C. Harts of Jenkinsville, SC, Paul (Tonya) Harts of Columbia, SC, Eric L. Harts of Columbia, SC. 4 daughters, Peggy D. Harts of Columbia, SC Maynette (Emmanuel) Flemming of Newberry SC, Janet (Clemart) Camack of Jenkinsville, SC, Ericka L. Harts of Columbia, SC.
Mrs. Laura Mae Stewart has 12 grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Her Husband Willie T. Harts one sister Esther Stewart and Alvin Stewart preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be 1 pm Saturday January 15, 2022 @ New Hope AME Church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday January 14, 2022 from 4:30 pm to 7 pm @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
