Mrs. Geneva H. Bell, 84, departed this life on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Claude H. and Lugenia Y. Harper Mableton. She was born in Columbia, South Carolina on April 11, 1936.
Geneva was educated through the Fairfield County Public School System. At a young age, she later moved and relocated to Baltimore, Maryland. There she married the love of her life the late, James Bell (Slim) who nicknamed her ‘Boop”. The two shared a great union and cherished each other dearly.
She attended Mount Hebron Baptist Church where she served as a lead singer on several choirs. Mrs. Bell was faithful to God and her church until her health begin to decline.
She attended Calverney Beauty Academy where she received her cosmetology license and was in business’s for over 30 years. Geneva enjoyed singing, cooking, baking, shopping, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish loving memories, two sisters, devoted sister, Rev. Claudia H. Richardson and Virginia H. Hart both of Winnsboro, SC; three goddaughters,a devoted niece, Renada Richardson of Winnsboro, SC; niece, Wanda G. Smith, Baltimore, MD and Arlene of Baltimore, MD; one uncle, Eddie Burns of Washington, DC; one aunt, Missy G. Yarborough, of Winnsboro, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, church family; and a dedicated best friend Louise of Baltimore, Maryland.
Graveside service for Mrs. Geneva Bell will be 12 noon Saturday December 26, 2020 @ Fairfield Memorial Cemetery.
