Mrs. Ethel Bell McCrorey-Sanders

Ms. Ethel Bell McCrorey-Sanders was born on January 13, 1923.  She was the second child of eight (8) born to the late Willie Henry and Carrie Alice McDaniel-McCrorey in Winnsboro, SC.  She transitioned form her earthly life to eternal life with Christ on September 21, 2015. Ethel Bell was educated in the public schools of Fairfield County. Ethel Bell was preceded in death by:  her siblings, Lonnie, Walter, Willie (Bill), Wardell, Bertha, Betty, and Johnnie Mae McCrorey. Ethel Bell was married to the late John Sanders.  She had eleven (11) children and she was preceded in death by one son, Willie Frank Sanders. Those left to grieve her passing and celebrate her home going are eight (8) daughter:  Sara (late Willie Henry) Moore, Margaret (Preston) Hall, Mae Travis “Tink” (Joe) Sanders, Patricia (Mary) Mobley, Christine (Theodore) Moore, Linda (Shakoor) Bay, Thomasine (Bo) Sawyer, Yvette (John) Backstrom; two (2) sons, Ernest “Red” (Mary) Sanders, Lavern (Brenda) Boone; one daughter-in-law, Deborah Addison-Sanders; 25 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 29  great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and a devoted friend, Lawrence Brown. Funeral services will be 1:00 (12 noon viewing) Thursday October 1, 2015 at Bethesda AME Zion Church of Winnsboro SC with burial at Old Gladden Grove Cemetery, Great Falls SC.
