Mrs. Estelle Adams

Mrs. Estelle Adams was born April 1, 1925 in Fairfield County to the late Frank and Ella Adams.  She departed this earthly life on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at her home.

She attended the Public Schools of Fairfield County.  At a young age, she became a sharecropper and homemaker.  In later years she married Willie Peay.  She was very kind-hearted with people and she loved dogs.

Those left to cherish her memory are:  her daughter, Ella Mae Peay; son, Tommy Lee Peay; sister, Mammie Lou (Roosevelt) Johnson and brother, Jesse James Adams.  She was blessed with four grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and brother-in law, Roosevelt Johnson.

Mrs. Estelle Adams was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers:  David, Sammie, Lonnie, Ernest, Frank, Willie and Sandy Adams; one sister, Elizabeth Hill, all of whom originated from Fairfield County.

Graveside service will be 12 noon Friday May 21, 2021 @ Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday May 20, 2021 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
