Earline Coleman was the daughter of Woodie E Lewis and Betty Iomly Jimmie Lucille Arnold on December 25, 1924 in Bremen Georgia. She had two brothers Claude Lewis (deceased), Herman Lewis (deceased) and three sisters: Florence Powell (deceased), and a surviving sister Nina Lee Douglas. She was the youngest of the siblings and was affectionately known as “BABY”.She moved to Cleveland, Ohio at a young adult age. She married and out of that union had one daughter Patricia A. Jordan (Melvin) Peters. Her second marriage to Willie Lem Coleman (deceased) added a daughter Geraldine L. (Major) Neal. Together Earline and Willie added two daughters: Willa Rochelle Hawkins, Narlynn L. Coleman-Chambers and a son Willie Lem Coleman II. Mama exhibited the character of a strong woman. Her creativeness taught us many skills of home decorating, sewing, cooking, and redecorating old furniture. She had a hard work ethic and “never give up” attitude. She inspired us to do the best at what we did. SHE BECAME THE FIRST BLACK SCHOOL BUS DRIVER AND THE FIRST WOMAN BUS DRIVER FOR WARRENSVILLE HTS OHIO. We will always remember your determined looks and at times her playful smile and gentle laughter.She leaves to cherish her memory; sister Nina L. Douglas of Cleveland, OH, Geraldine L.(Major) Neal of Harrisburg, NC Patricia Anne Jordan (Melvin) Peters of Cleveland, Ohio, Willa Rochelle Hawkins of Irmo, SC, Narlynn L. Coleman-Chambers (Van) of Indian Trail, NC, Willie Lem (Tangala) Coleman II, of Blair, SC. In addition her grandchildren Marquis S.Neal, Nicholas Akai Hawkins, Cheyenne N. Chambers, Chari L. Chambers, Willie L. Coleman III, and Micah L.Coleman, her great-grandchildren: Marquis S. Neal Jr., Zyriek D. Neal, Leticia Neal, and Naiyu R.Hawkins. She leaves to mourn a host of sister in-laws, Mrs. Gladys Lewis , Mrs. Bessie Feaster, Mrs. Nezzie McConnell, Mrs. Helen Davis, Mrs. Mamie Coleman, Mrs. Margaret Coleman and a brother -in-law Mr. Jerome (Alice) Coleman . Also she leaves to cherish her memory, a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The family would like to thank all who have sent their prayers, thoughts and support. Funeral service will be 1:00pm (12 noon viewing) Sunday April 29, 2018 @ Weeping Mary Baptist Church in Blair SC with burial in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday April 28, 2018 from 1pm to 7pm @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst Winnsboro SC 29180. TO MY BABY SISTER; I AM NOW THE ONLY SIBLING LEFT .I LOVE YOU DEARLY AND WILL MISS YOU. I TAKE COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT I WILL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE.
