Mrs. Daisy "DL" (Proctor) Montgomery

Mrs. Daisy “DL” Proctor Montgomery, 91 of Winnsboro SC died Tuesday August 10, 2021 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Ernest Montgomery of Winnsboro, SC.

Mrs. Daisy was born in Simpson, SC. She was the daughter of the late Holly and Mary Proctor. She was a faithful member of St. Mark Baptist Church of Simpson, SC, where she served on the usher board.

She leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories her sons; Emmanuel Montgomery of Winnsboro, SC, Clyde Montgomery Sr. (Elouise) of Simpson, SC, Sylvester Montgomery of Clemson, SC. Daughters; Willie Mae Ford (Douglas) of Baltimore, MD, Cassandra Simmons (John) of Winnsboro, SC, Vanessa Pearson of Winnsboro, SC, special daughter-in-law Marilyn Montgomery, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is also survived by her sisters, Queen Akers of Hartford, CT, and Marjorie Jefferson and Atlee Feaster of Baltimore, MD.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Shirley Montgomery-Burney, a son Larry Montgomery.

Graveside service will be 11am Friday August 13, 2021 @ St. Mark Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday August 12, 2021 from 3pm to 6pm @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro, SC 29180.
