Mrs. Carol Jackson

Carol Davis Jackson was born to the late Gladney and Naomi Weldon Davis on April 17, 1955 in Winnsboro, SC. She departed her earthly life on Friday, June 7, 2024.She attended the Fairfield High School in Winnsboro, SC. She was a hard worker. She was employed at BMW before she retired in September 2020. She had a passion for crocheting and sewing. Her true passion was her two grandchildren Travis Jackson and Kierra J. Williams. 

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories her son Dan Jackson of Hopkins, SC; two brothers Bossie (Alberta) Davis of Winnsboro, SC and William (Lisa) Davis of Raleigh, NC; seven sisters Rosetta Butler, Dorothy Cohen, Olivia (Willie) Mozie III, Linda Kelly, Mary McCants of Winnsboro, SC, Annperetta Armstrong and Joan Cain of Hartford, CT.; two grandchildren Travis Jackson and Kierra (Jakhari) Williams; two great-grandchildren Kharie and Khamoni Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and her closest friends Shirley Ann Green, Chirstine Rogers and Willie Mozie III. Special thanks to her caregivers Dorothy Cohen, Agape Care Kimmie, Sandy and Bob (Chaplain), and her devoted niece Melissa Yarborough.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by three brothers Nathaniel Davis, James Davis, and Randolph Davis; her children Travis Jackson and Samantha Davis; three nephews Robert Kennedy, James Cohen, and Joseph Davis; three aunts; and two uncles.

Funeral service will be 1pm Saturday June 15, 2024 @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home Chapel, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180. Visitation will be Friday June 14, 2024 from 3pm to 6pm @ the funeral Home.
