Albertha cherished her family deeply, but above all she lived for the Lord. She joined Lighten Grove Baptist Church, which later became County Grove Baptist Church, and remained an active and faithful member throughout her life. From childhood through adulthood her voice rang out on the choir, lifting praises and worship for the God she loved. She was the mother of the church and a member of the Missionary.
