Truedell Burrell was born February 2, 1949 to Haskel Burrell and Annie Bell Burrell. Although he departed his life on Friday October 25, 2019, his life will forever be cherished in the lives he touched.
In his early years, Mr. Burrell opened a neighborhood store he called “Burrell’s Soda Shop”. He was also the manager of the neighborhood softball team the “Greenbriar Cobras” which he led to many victories. He enjoyed working on cars, playing the guitar, and traveling in his free time.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 49 years, Juanita “Toot” Burrell, his daughter Mechelle “Cheryl” Thompson, his late son in law Edwin Thompson, two granddaughters Emani and Elise Thompson, and a great grandson Antavious “EJ” Jones. He also leaves behind 5 sisters Margret Flores, Geraldine Cobb, Joyce (Lloyd) Pridgeon, Jeanette Davis and Aubrey Burrell and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by Drexler Burrell, Vernon Burrell, and Mozel Pearson.
