Mr. Thomas Sanders Obituary

Thomas J. Sanders, know to family and friends as “Buck” was the son of Mary Gilliam and the late James Jones. Born on April 30, 1983 in Richland County, Thomas departed this earthly life on June 6, 2022.

He went to McCrorey-Liston School. He loved sports and he loved to read the Bible. He was loved by many and a special friend James Richards.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Gilliam; one brother, Avery Gilliam (Anna) of Charlotte, NC; and one sister, Charlene Sanders of Columbia, SC; three nieces: Averiana Wright, Samiyah Clemons of Columbia, SC, Ava Gilliam of Charlotte, NC; three nephews: Kamojay Sanders of Columbia, SC, Ace Gilliam and A.J. Gilliam both of Charlotte, NC and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Thomas was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary A. Sanders; grandfather, J.C. Sanders; one aunt, Catherine Ann Edmonds and one uncle, Ulysses Sanders and a cousin; Tasha Hubbard.

Services for Mr. Thomas Sanders will be 3 pm Saturday June 25, 2022 @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home Chapel, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180. Visitation will be from 2 pm to 6 pm Friday June 24th, 2022 @ the funeral home.
