Mr. Taber Cook Obituary

Mr. Taber Tyrone Cook, 45 was born on May, 24, 1969 to Claude Cook and Intisar (Bernice ) Ashraf. He departed this earthly life on Feb. 23, 2015. Tabor was educated in the public schools of Fairfield County, Phillips College, and Midland Technical College, earning an Associate Degree in Computer Science. He was a former employee at the Department of Transportation.  He was most recently employed with US Security. Taber participated with numerous community and civic organizations including Fairfield Planning Committee, Fairfield County Council and Zoning Committee. Taber’s desire to help others and improve himself which led to several entrepreneurial adventures. He never met a stranger. This loving compassionate soul  leaves to cherish his memories: parents: siblings: Cynthia (James) George, Jimmie (Betty) Ashford, Vera Williams, Yolanda Cook, Aaron (Hattie) Cook, Raushanah (Christopher) Jones, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a large circle of cherish friends. Funeral services will be held 3:00pm Thursday February 26, 2015 at Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will be at Morris Creek Baptist Church Cemetery on Morris Creek Church Rd. Visitation will be Wednesday February 25, 2015 from 2pm to 6pm at Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home. The Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home is serving the Cook family and is in charge of arrangements.
