Obituary

Quincy was the son of Elizabeth Johnson and the late William J. Burns. He was born and raised in Fairfield County. He attended Fairfield County Schools until he graduated from Winnsboro High School.

He was a member of New Hope AME Church. Quincy was employed as a mechanic by Harsco Rail for over a decade. He joined Fidelity Lodge #33 PHA of SC in 2010.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 21 years, Sheila. His legacy is carried on by his son Cornelius (Kelly); three daughters, LaSheila (Joaquin Sr.), LaShonda and Aleisha and a host of grandchildren, his mother, Elizabeth, brother, Roderick, sister, Teresa and Lesha (Greg) and stepmother, Hattie are also left with his memory.

 He was preceded in death by his father, William and son, Kevin Bannister Jr.

Funeral service for Mr. Quincy Chappell will be 3 pm Saturday July 29, 2023 @ St. Luke Baptist Church with burial @ New Hope AME Church cemetery. Visitation will be 12 noon to 6 pm Friday July 28, 2023 @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
