Mr Paul C Chappell

Paul C. Chappell was born to the late Paul and Carrie Chappell on May 15, 1955 in Winnsboro, SC. Paul departed his earthly life on December 12, 2025 at the age of 70 years old.

Paul was educated in the Fairfield County School System. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator in Denton, TX. 

Paul, affectionately known as “Smiley”, grew up in a large and close-knit family and he cherished his relationship with them. He was a loving and humorous person who loved to have a good time. He touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters: Velma Cole, Christabell Pauling (Joseph) and Willie Mae Pauling; a brother, Phillip Chappell (Jackie) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 am Friday December 19, 2025 @ Russell-McCutchen Home Chapel, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.

Visitation will be Thursday December 18, 2025 from 4 pm to 6 pm @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst S. Winnsboro SC 29180.
