Mr. Moses Kelly, affectionately known as “Cadillac” was born on July 6th, 1943 in Philadelphia PA. He was baptized at an early age. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday May 29, 2018 at the age of 74. He was educated in the public Schools in Fairfield County and graduated at the top of his class. Moses worked driving trucks, transporting and selling goods for many years. He used that experience to later become an entrepreneur. He was self-employed at the Farmer’s Market mainly in Columbia South Carolina but traveled all over the United States. He specialized in selling produce, and one of his favorite, was watermelon. He was known to send you home with a good sweet watermelon. Moses was a people person, friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. He always had an interesting story to tell. You would never be bored around him.He always shared his knowledge especially about the way we eat. He believed that we should eat more raw and natural foods, as opposed to process foods and no meat. His lifestyle was more of a holistic way.He had an interest in cars, the Cadillac was his favorite. He used to ride around town with his American flags on both sides, flying in the wind. The community gave him the name “Cadillac”. His greeting and closing was always the same “God Bless”. Moses was preceded in death by his mother: Ms. Jesse Kelly. He leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories: a host of close cousins and other relatives, friends and his Church family. A special thank you to: The Good Samaritan House for their love, support and friendship to Moses over the years.
