Mr. Latrakeus Bouknight Obituary

Latrakeus “Speedy” Bouknight was born February 7, 1973 to Elizabeth Bouknight and the late Nathaniel Bouknight, III. His journey of life ended after a lengthy illness on July 2, 2022.
“Speedy” was educated in Alma Georgia and Winnsboro, South Carolina for a short time. At an early age, he became a member of the First African Baptist Church where he served as an usher. Later in life after moving back to Winnsboro due to his illness, he attended Speak to My Heart Ministries. Speedy was a loving son brother, uncle, cousin and friend— especially to Anthony “Baldhead” Sutton, Larry Squirewell, Jerry Dennis, Thomas Evans and Keisha Bell. He will truly be missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories a very devoted mother, Elizabeth B. Bouknight; three brothers: Derick “Angie” Garmon of Anchorage, Alaska, Terrian Barnes of Winnsboro, SC and Timothy “Regina” Coleman of Charlotte, NC; two sisters: Bridgette Bouknight Barnes and Samona Bouknight of Alma, GA.

Speedy was preceded in death by his father Nathaniel Bouknight, III and his baby sister Tia N. Bouknight.

A memorial service will be 3 pm Wednesday July 6, 2022 @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home Chapel, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
