Mr. Kenneth Broome Obituary

Mr. Kenneth Broom was born on August 26, 1954, in Fairfield County. He was the son of the late Robert J. and Ida M. Belle Broome. He passed into eternal life on October 25, 2023.

Kenneth was educated in the Fairfield County School System. In Kenneth youth days he attended Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church. He served in the United States Military. Kenneth enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards and dancing. Kenneth last employer before his health fell was with The Town of Winnsboro in the Sanitation Department.

He leaves to cherish his memories, Lifelong partner of 31 years, Marion Bowick, of the home. One son Quamaine Wilson and five grandchildren all of Hartford, Ct., five brothers, Ralph (Mildred) Connelly, of Hickory NC, Claude (Belindra), Broome of Winnsboro SC, Cedric Broom, Barron Broom, Curtis (Tanya) Broome, of Columbus GA, two sisters, Patricia Broom of East Hartford, CT, Becky (Keith) Wilson, of Jacksonville, FL one Aunt Nana Young. Two special bonus grandchildren of the home, Markelia & "Big Jaw"  Belton and DeMarcus "Dee" Belton and one special bonus great-grandchild of the home Mahogany "MoMo" Price. Three special nephews Raymond “Ray” Powell, Roman and Claude ”Tario” Broome. Caregiver Elizabeth “Beth” Bouknight and host of nieces, nephews and other relatives who will all miss him dearly.

Kenneth was preceded in death by 3 brothers: James Broome, Dwight Worthy, and Drummer Alexander, 3 sisters: Juanita Broome, Mary Adams, and Rosalind “Bonnie” Broome

Funeral service will be12 noon Saturday November 4, 2023 @ United House of Prayer for All People, 220 US Hwy 321 Bypass S. Winnsboro SC 29180. Visitation will be Friday November 3, 2023 from 5 pm to 7 pm @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
