Mr. John Davis Jr. departed this earthly life on Wednesday August 30, 2023 in Lincoln NE. He was born on May 22, 1973 to the late John McGriff and Annie Bell Frazier.
John attended Fairfield Central High School. He won an award for dead lifts (over 700 lbs.). He loved to rap, and he was known by “Butterfly D” and “Brown Paper Bag”.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories: his wife Sara S. Sims, sons, John Davis III, and Caleb Davis both of Winnsboro SC, daughters, Alishia Davis of Winnsboro SC, Andreana Fox of Hasting NE, Nikayla Davis of Hasting NE, and Alexus Davis of Winnsboro SC. Brothers, Ray Davis (Toshia) of Winnsboro SC, and Johnny Davis of Winnsboro SC, sister, Brenda Lee Gaither (Lawrence), three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:30 pm Saturday September 9, 2023 @ Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church, 505 W. Moultrie St. Winnsboro SC 29180 with burial @ Fairfield Community Cemetery, 4822 Kincaid Bridge Rd. Winnsboro SC 29180.
Visitation will be Friday September 8, 2023 from 7:30pm to 9pm @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
