Mr. Jamie Lee Weldon

Mr, Jamie Lee Weldon was born December 19,1961 in Winnsboro, South Carolina. He was one of five children born to the late Josiah and Addie (Havey) Weldon.  He was called home to his Heavenly Father on Thursday April 22,2021 in his home. 

Mr. Weldon received his education in the public schools of Fairfield County. He worked at the Hartford Lumber Company from 1978 to 2000. He loved to fish, hunt and listen to music. He had a smile that could brighten the room and a laugh that would make anyone want to join in. He loved his family and friends and will be eternally missed. 

Those left behind to cherish his memories are his (daughter) Macy Weldon and (son) Mason Weldon of Hartford, Connecticut, three sisters Alvetta (Anderson) Owens, Dorothy Riley , Sarah Goins and brother Arthur Weldon, two special nieces Cathy Owens and Joyce Weldon, a special nephew Veshawn Owens; and a host of family and friends who loved him.

He was predeceased by sisters Lagretta and Lilly Weldon and brother Joe Weldon.

Funeral service will be 1 pm Saturday May 1, 2021 @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Fairfield Community Cemetery. Viewing will be Friday April 30, 2021 from 2pm to 5pm and the family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home.
