Mr. Henry Stewart Jr.

Today, we come to say farewell to our dearest beloved one. His passing has left our hearts filled with sadness, but in the words of Henry Jr. “God knows BEST” and called him home to rest.

 Mr. Henry Stewart Jr., better known as “Lilly” departed this earthly life on October 25, 2019 at his home in Blackstock, SC. Henry Jr. was born in Fairfield County on April 19, 1960 to the late Henry Stewart Sr. and Dorothy Stewart.

 He was nurtured in a Christian home where both he and his siblings were reared to reverence God. At an early age, Henry Jr. joined New Independent Methodist Church in Blackstock, SC. Henry Jr. attended the public schools of Great Falls, SC and he graduated in 1978 from Great Falls High School. He was employed with the family business, Stewart Plumbing Services & Sons for many years.

  Henry Jr. loved his children and grandchildren. He also loved listening to old school music, being with his family, friends and driving his Dodge Ram truck. He will be greatly missed by all of those who loved him.

 He leaves behind to cherish precious memories, his mother; Mrs. Dorothy Stewart of Blackstock, SC, son; Antonio Sanders of Lexington, SC, three daughters; Katina (Bernie) Prioleau of Columbia, SC, Kayla (Terrell) Stewart of Blythewood, SC, and Whitney (Marcus) Stewart of Winnsboro, SC, seven grandchildren; Antonio Jr, Montrell, Omari, Alexis, Aliyah, Londyn, and King. His four sisters; Helen (Ander) Worthy of Chester, SC, Brenda (Randy) Dewese of Blackstock, SC, Gale (Ronnie) Stewart of Lancaster, SC, and Jacqueline (Dave) Davis of Atlanta, GA, two brothers; Steven and Gerald Stewart both of Blackstock, SC, six nieces and nephews; Kristi, Brandon (Shirleakia), Stephanie, Romelo, Kendrick, and Jonathan. His great-nephew and nieces; Kaleb, Scarlett, and Khloe. His two aunts; Ann (Paul) Hicklin of Great Falls, SC and Faye Lamar of Winnsboro, SC. Three uncles; Tom Gaither of Winnsboro, SC, John Willie (Gloria) Gaither of Lancaster, SC, and Charles Gaither of Charlotte, NC. Two god sisters; Vanessa (Roger) Simpson of Rock Hill, SC, and Tiwana Young of Blackstock, SC. God brother; John “Kid” (Lutricia) Gaither of Rock Hill, SC. His godfather; Larry Stewart of Blackstock, SC. Special friends Charlie Ray Brown, Rob Perry and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

 Henry Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Henry Stewart Sr and his sister, Sheila Stewart.

Funeral services will be 3pm Wednesday October 30, 2019, @ New Independent Methodist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday October 29, 2019 from 12 noon to 3pm @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.Wake from 5pm to 7:30pm @ the Church.
