Mr. Evan Leroy Pauling

 Mr. Evan Leroy Pauling was born March 6, 1975 in Columbia, SC. He was the firstborn of the three children of  Mr. Leroy and Mrs. Mamie Pauling.  Evan was a greatly loved big brother to his sister, Mrs. Tamekia (James) Grant, now of Charlotte, NC and his  little brother, Mr. Irvin T. Pauling, Sr. of Winnsboro, SC. He was a beloved son to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy  Pauling of Winnsboro, SC.  Evan Pauling was a loving husband to his sweetheart, Mrs. Lakesha Yates Pauling, whom he married on June  15, 1996.  He was the caring, protective father of three daughters, Ms. Miriam Glover, of Hopkins, SC; Miss Michelle  Pauling and “Golden” to Miss Kiana Pauling of the home and the proud grandfather of one granddaughter, Miss  Zhalah Alston of Hopkins, SC.  Mr. Evan Pauling is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Alice Pauling. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Mr. Ira Pauling, Sr., his maternal grandparents, Mr. Eddie Evans, Sr. and Mrs. Mattie Evans, and his uncles: Mr. Eddie Evans, Jr. and Mr. Arthur Pauling. He leaves his paternal aunts: Mrs. Mary Jane (Bernard) Jackson, Mrs. Gail (Steve) Frank of Winnsboro, SC; Mrs. Brenda (Andy) Young of Houston, TX; Mrs. Corrine Simon of Silver Spring, MD; his maternal aunts: Mrs. Mattie L. (James) Smiling of Columbia, SC and Mrs. Mary Robinson of Winnsboro, SC; his paternal uncles: Mr. Ira (Lizzie) Pauling, Jr. of Columbia, SC; Mr. Joseph (Christabell) Pauling of Winnsboro, SC; Mr. James (Brenda) Pauling of Columbia, SC; Mr. Heyward (Angela) Pauling of Gaston, SC; and his maternal uncles: Mr. James Evans of Cayce, SC; Mr. Leroy (Dora) Evans of Winnsboro, SC; and Mr. Adam (Ahinoam) Evans of Petersburg, VA and his aunt, Mrs. Willie Mae Pauling. He will be greatly missed by his six nephews and two nieces, as well as his many cousins, and other family members, as well as his mother- and father-in-laws: Mr. Ernest and Sanretha Yates of Bishopville, SC. Funeral services will be Friday August 14, 2015 @ 1:00pm(12:00pm viewing) Jehovah Witnesses Kingdom Hall,  with burial at Fairfield Community Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday August 13, 2015 from 12pm to 8pm at Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC.
