Mr. Bobbie Woodard Obituary

 Bobbie Donald Woodard was born a blessing to the late Richard Sr. and Maggie Bee Brown Woodard on June 15th, 1952 in Blair, SC. After battling a long illness he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family Saturday, July 31st, 2021. He was a lifelong member of Little River Presbyterian Church of Blair, SC serving as an Elder and he attended Fairfield County Public Schools for his education.

One of his most pleasurable moment is spending time with his family with that same smile he rendered upon departure. "BobbieDon and/or “Doughlee" as he was so affectionately referred to had a loving nature of catching and frying fish for all to enjoy competiting against his brothers for the best Fisherman's Award. His working endeavor began at a very early age hauling pulpwood to venturing out for many years working for Cone Meal Plant in Carlisle, SC. He was a member of the Silver Hill Masonic Lodge #128 and APB Society.

He leaves his loving family wife Mamie Sims Woodard, a daugther Charlesetta Woodard, four grandchildren DerRicia Bates of Blair SC, Dajon Bates (Raven) of Spartanburg SC, Khaleb and Khamaj Feaster, four great grands Ahmeria, Joydan, Ja'Siya Anna, four brothers, Willie (Glenda) his best buddy who longed to return home from CT after 48 years to share in some time with his family and to become a caregiver for Bobbie to which he took great pride in doing so, Joseph, Leon Woodard, Blair SC, Trez Feaster Spartanburg SC, five sisters Minnie Robinson, Roberta Woodard Blair SC, Floree Gibson Gastonia SC, Hattie Edwards (Charles) Carlisle SC, Bernice Feaster Chester SC, four brother in-laws Herman Worthy, Charlie Sims Jr. (Hattie) Lancanston SC, Nathaniel Sims (Sharon) Winnsboro SC, Arthur Sims (Mary), Jimmy Sims (Phyllis), a sister in-law Betty Woodard, one uncle Glenn Woodard Blair SC, a host of nieces, nephews and other beloved relatives.

He was predeceased by his parents Richard Sr. and Maggie Bee Woodard, one daugther, Alicia "Ann", Woodard, three brothers Richard Jr., Leroy Floyd Woodard, four sisters Annie Ruth Jackson, Mary Ruby Worthy, Amanda, Hope Woodard, three brother in-laws Willie Robinson, Melvin Sims, Rosevelt Jackson and two sister in-laws Rayetta Sims and Sara Ann Woodard.

Graveside service for Mr. Bobby Woodard of 2701 Possum Branch Rd. Blair SC will 3pm Thursday August 5, 2021 @ Little River Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be Wednesday August 4, 2021 from 1pm to 7pm @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home.
