Mr. Barnett Simmons was born September 20, 1963 to the late Albert Simmons and Louise Woodard. Barnett gained his wings and entered into eternal rest on Wednesday May 27, 2024.
Barnett was known as “Bunny” to family and friends. He was a loving and caring person and he was very fun to be around.
He played drums on Winnsboro High School Marching Band. He was a graduate of Winnsboro School. After high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. He worked several years in construction and Kraft Food in Newberry SC and was self-employed.
Barnett leaves to cherish his memories two brothers, Bobby (Velma) Simmons, Larry Simmons, two aunts, Lillie Woodard, Sara Ann (Marion) Harris. A very special friend, Trina Davis, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Barnett was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Shillie Weldon, four brothers, Albert Simmons II, Robert Simmons, Floyd Simmons and Marvin Simmons.
Funeral service will be 1pm Friday June 14,2024 @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home Chapel, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180.
Visitation will be Thursday June 13, 2024 from 4 pm to 7pm @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home.
