Marva Means Hall was born on June 12,1941 to the late John and Henrietta (Camack) Means in Blair, SC. Marva had twin sisters Carrie Etta (Means) Hopkins and Lou Etta (Means) Goldbern, both of whom predeceased her in death.
Marva was educated in the Fairfield County Schools. She completed her education at McCrorey Liston High School in Blair, SC.
On September 22, 1963, Marva married Willie Hall. From this union they were blessed with a loving son, Trevor. He was born on September 3,1973 in Brooklyn, New York. In the summer of 1978, the family moved back to South Carolina where they remained after the death of her husband Willie.
Marva began working at Louis Rich Company where she maintained her position until she retired after 24 years of service.
Marva leaves behind, to hold onto her precious memories, her son Trevor, her granddaughter Raina Hall. Two nieces: Thelma Hopkins and Debra Hopkins. Two sisters-in-law: Mae Glenn and Bertha Glenn. And a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other family members and friends who will truly miss her.
Memorial Service for Mrs. Marva Means Hall will be held Saturday, October 21,2023 at 1:00 pm @ Little River Presbyterian Church, 1415 Highway 215 North, Blair, SC 29015.
