Deacon Frank Martin

Deacon Frank Martin, 78, of Winnsboro, South Carolina, departed his life Thursday, December 1,2022 at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, South Carolina.

 Deacon Frank Martin was born September 2, 1944 to the late Moses and Kittie Lee Martin. He was educated in the Fairfield County School System and a Deacon at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Winnsboro, S.C. Deacon Martin worked at Uniroyal for 37 years before retiring. Frank enjoyed being around his family, going to Church and anything outdoors.

Frank leaves to cherish his beautiful memories, two daughters Delois (late Alvin) Squirewell and Regina (Marcus) Lyles; seven grandchildren, Alvin, Brittney, Kiana, Kendrick, Mikaela, De’Marion and London ; four great-grandchildren, Zoe, Madison, McKenzie and Kynslee ; two brothers Henry and Heyward (Georgetta) Martin  ; a special friend, Kathareen Perry; one sister in law, Irene Martin ; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Otto, Clyde and Fedward Martin and one sister, Evelyn Himes.

 A private viewing and burial will be held.
